Weekly lessons offer structured learning and steady progress with one session per week throughout the term. Piano students develop technique while exploring both classical and popular music, with a focus on creativity and understanding music as a language.

1. Tuition: Lessons are charged at a flat monthly rate based on a 4‑week month (a 5th lesson, if it occurs, is included at no extra charge).

  • Your weekly time slot is reserved exclusively for you, so full tuition is required regardless of attendance.
  • No discounts, credits, or refunds are provided for lessons missed by the student.
  • Monthly rates (based on a 4‑week month; 5th week is free if applicable):
    • 45-minute lessons: $280/month (adults and advanced students)
    • 30-minute lessons: $180/month (kids and teenagers)
Please review number nine below for breakdown of months

2. Payment
Tuition is due at the beginning of each month. E-transfers can be sent to eastchambermusic@gmail.com (EAST CHAMBER MUSIC).

3. Fifth Week Bonus Lessons
Some months include a 5th lesson week. These bonus lessons are offered at no extra charge and help balance out occasional missed classes.

4. Statutory Holidays & Halloween
No lessons will be held on statutory holidays or Halloween.

  • If your lesson falls on one of these days, a credit will be issued, unless the month includes a 5th lesson week, in which case the free extra lesson serves as compensation.

5. Illness Policy
Please do not attend lessons if you are sick or contagious.

  • The 5th-week bonus lesson policy helps offset occasional absences due to illness.

6. Parental Participation
Parents are encouraged to sit in on lessons.

7. Teacher Cancellations
If I must cancel a lesson due to illness, vacation, or a professional conflict, I will offer a reschedule or credit, unless the month includes a 5th lesson week, in which case the free extra lesson serves as compensation.

8. Extended Absences
If a student is away and not paying tuition:

  • Your time slot will not be held unless half of the month’s tuition is paid in advance.
  • Otherwise, your slot may be released and offered to another student.
